Next Stop... Sioux Falls

Part of my (Kim's) job involves advising the student leadership organization of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America or FCCLA.  April has been incredibly busy helping students complete their projects and getting ready.  Since I have a state officer this year- state meeting would have meant being away from home for 5 days.  That is a lot!!  We knew that was just too long so..... Wes earned like 1 Million bonus points in the race for Dad of the Year in deciding to drive across the state solo so we could be together as a family.  Wes is an incredible Dad and husband- he seriously, takes such good care of us.
During the day when I was busy- they got to spend lots of time with Auntie Ashley and Justin.
It was wonderful for everyone- truly a great weekend.
I love hanging out with Auntie Ashley!!!
 Lots of FuN!
Ohhh, its a turtle and a goat.

Justin is so much fun- he likes teaching me lots of cool things.

AND- there was an AWESOME pool of WATER at the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!
Kaleb absolutely loves, loves, loves water.  It is so comical sometimes how he can find just a little tiny bit of water.  The other day, the dishwasher door was open and Wes was unloading it.  We turned around to see that Kaleb had crawled onto the dishwasher door and was laying his head in/lapping up/splashing in about 1/64 of an inch of water sitting in the door.  Nothing is better than water to this kid!  Not even cinnamon waffles, which is saying a lot!
This one, you just had to be there...
Definitely a weekend that we very much enjoyed!!

Happy Easter!

For Easter, we loaded up and headed to Laramie to spend some time with Grandma & Grandpa Roth; Uncle Ryan, Aunt Jennifer and of course- the cousins!  We had a wonderful time and were especially thankful for the unseasonable warm weather.  Getting to Laramie in April can be a challenge-
Go God, for giving us clear sailing!
Lots of fun with the cousins and Aunt Jennifer...
Kaleb is a huge fan of Aunt Jennifer!!

And, wouldn't you know it, there were even a few more birthday presents waiting!!!
And then some for Grandpa Roth because well...
really it was HIS birthday party.
Happy Birthday Grandpa :)
Ohhh, and one of the highlights of the weekend-
playing chase with 'My Favorite Cousin' Andrew...
We would run and run and chase and giggle until finally,
Kaleb would just collapse in laughter.
The kid seriously LOVE life!!
Of course, we had Easter Baskets.
The one in front is Kaleb's first Easter Basket- so much fun stuff!

Uncle Ryan taught me about Easter Egg hunts too...
there were rules and things but, I just ignored them ; )

It was so nice we decided to grill out- it was wonderful.  Thanks to Bonnie for the steaks and Ryan for grilling them.  We had a great time and really enjoyed just hanging out in the sunshine!
Happy Easter from- The Roths
God Bless!
