I don't know where November went, but it went fast! This past month a wonderful time of wrapping up the busyness of fall. Since our blog is our 'family journal' so to speak... here's what we've been up to this past month.
I finished up another season of running the volleyball concession stand. It was long, very long- especially since our normal concession stand was being remodeled. Which meant, my FCCLA'ers and I hauled lots of ice, pop, tables, and stuff in the process of making our makeshift concession stand at the end of the gym work. In the end, we moved into the beautiful new space and had sold about 240 lbs. of popcorn kernels. Life's much simpler post-concession stand season :)
Kaleb has settled into the new daycare very, very well. He enjoys going and is excited to head home at the end of the day. So incredibly thankful that our daycare drama turned out for the best! Go God!! Current favorites include yelling 'one more time' as we're singing our way to work each morning. The kid loves music and sees it as his personal life goal to memorize every song on KSLT. He has also mastered the art of using his little chair to climb onto and reach anything needed. Counters, the table, top shelf of the refrigerator. Nothing is safe in our house, the kid is quite self sufficient I tell you what!
Still absolutely loves oatmeal which he can nearly cook himself. Hates to wear his coat and his favorite saying is "I'm fine."
He started off November by having his adnoids taken out. It has made a huge difference! He now sleeps quietly, soundly and deeper it seems. So thankful for the doctors skill and that a relatively simple procedure has had such a big difference.
November always involves a fun trip back to the ranch for family time and deer hunting. Auntie Ashley and Justin were back as well between travel nursing jobs. It was a blast! The pillow wars were profoundly crazy and the guys got some nice deer as well....
